Miotas/Myth
about.
Project Manager & Media Lead
Client: Canada Ireland Foundation
Before the historic Coreleck Building began its renovation, we transformed the space into a vibrant, temporary cultural hub. I managed a cross-functional team to bring this activation to life by inviting a global lineup of mural artists to reimagine the site through the theme of miotas (the Gaelic word for “myth”) and their own cultural narratives.
Over 4,000 visitors engaged with the exhibition throughout summer 2021, despite ongoing pandemic constraints. The space featured artists Caitlin Taguibao, Kirsten McCrea & JP King, Victoria Day, The Dreamers (Alfalfa + La Pupila), Kizmet, Kreecha, and Doras — each offering unique visual storytelling that turned the building into a living archive of myth and memory and a visually compelling space that resonated both in person and across digital platforms.
In this hybrid role, I led the end-to-end project management while also taking on creative and operational responsibilities: venue co-management, artist and stakeholder coordination, real-time documentation (video and photography), digital marketing and outreach, and live content creation across platforms.
This activation helped the Canada Ireland Foundation amplify its cultural mission, engage new and diverse audiences, and build lasting visibility ahead of the building’s transformation.
