Lovers Art Club
about.
Co-founder / Project Manager / Media & Marketing Lead
Toronto, Canada · 2020 – 2023
Lovers Art Club was part creative studio, part production house, part event agency, 100% rooted in community. As a co-founder, I helped shape LAC into a hybrid platform that championed queer and urban art through public installations, digital content, and brand collaborations.
I managed everything from concept to execution: producing large-scale public artworks, leading community engagement strategies, writing creative briefs, vendor coordination, and cross-functional communication ensuring our projects hit their creative goals and operational timelines.
As Media & Marketing Lead, I developed our visual storytelling, built social campaigns, and maintained a consistent brand presence across digital platforms. I also grew our digital community and helped turn one-off projects into long-term partnerships.
We were commissioned by Pride Toronto to lead two large-scale public art projects at the heart of the city’s Pride programming for two years in a row.
Letters to Future Queer was an immersive live art event hosted on Church Street, where artists created large-scale murals in real time. A central element of the live art experience was an interactive community panel, where visitors were invited to leave personal messages to 'Future Queer(s),' creating a growing, collective archive of hope, memory, and imagination.
Conversation Pit was an interactive installation housed in the Eaton Centre, Canada’s busiest shopping mall and was designed to offer a space for dialogue, reflection, and connection during Pride Month.
These works combined art, public engagement, and storytelling into vibrant, high-impact cultural experiences.
