WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT JOY

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT JOY

It started with a piece of wire and an idea.

In high school, a friend and I started making jewelry, a hobby we turned into a small summer business. We hustled for supplies shop discounts, printed our own flyers, and talked our way into selling at a local hair salon run by a friend’s mom.

It was scrappy, fun, and successful. More than the sales, what stuck with me was the spark: creative ideas can come to life when matched with strategy, collaboration, and just enough fearless energy.

I make things happen by aligning people, tools, and vision — bringing clarity, momentum, and impact to projects across industries, teams, and borders.

Since then, I’ve worn many hats:

🌀 Communications & Marketing Manager at the Museum of Broken Relationships, where I led global digital strategy, grew audience engagement, optimized e-commerce, and built brand collaborations rooted in storytelling and cultural relevance.

🌈 Cofounder & Project Lead at Lovers Art Club — a hybrid event agency, production house, and online art community spotlighting queer and urban art in Toronto. I managed everything from social campaigns and artist relations to IRL installations and digital content strategy, blending creativity with clear execution.

🎥 Video Producer & Editor at Valnet Inc., one of Canada’s largest online media publishers. I created content across lifestyle, pop culture, and entertainment verticals, building high-performing YouTube videos (50M+ views total) and mastering fast-turnaround production at scale.

🎪 Production + Event Specialist across iconic venues and cultural institutions like Toronto International Film Festival, Hot Docs, Inside Out Festival, BuskerFest, Roy Thomson Hall, and 25 FPS Festival. From artist logistics to volunteer coordination, I kept things flowing behind the scenes and on the ground.

📋 Project Manager for international exhibitions and cultural initiatives, including Canada Ireland Foundation’s “Miotas / Myth” art takeover and the World Congress of Science & Factual Producers. I led cross-functional teams, balanced stakeholders expectations, and made complex productions feel effortless.

Whether it’s launching a brand activation, running comms for a global institution, or translating an idea into a multi-artist installation, I bring systems thinking, creative energy, and a highly adaptable skillset to the table. I thrive in fast-moving, collaborative environments and love turning ambiguity into action.

Now based in Berlin, I’m open to new opportunities with startups, agencies, and organizations who are building something real, resonant, and a little unconventional. Let’s make something happen.
